9 mois etc journeys with a mother during her pregnancy in Hong Kong.
Directed by Eugénie Vallot-Perraud, a midwife registered in Hong Kong and France, this customized, comprehensive care begins in the first trimester and extends until the “fourth” trimester—the three months postpartum.
My role is to assist women in having positive, powerful pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. I draw heavily on my strong educational, professional, and personal experiences, and I see the uniqueness in each woman and baby.
What is the difference between a midwife and a doula?
A midwife is a medical trained professional. She is health care provider. A doula is more a childbirth coach and she doesn’t have medical training. She can give you extra support during pregnancy, labour and postnatal period but she doesn’t replace a midwife or an OBGYN.
